Google revolutionized the online advertising business with the introduction of their AdSense program. There is no system available to the individual or small publisher that is as easy to use and that produces results as quickly.

AdSense Isn't for Everyone

There's a short article in eWeek about an AdSense customer suing Google. It's articles like this that inspire things like the Darwin Awards (although no one actually died this time).

Better Website ROI

The best way to get better website ROI is to develop an understanding of who is likely to be interested in your site and then to make sure you give them what they want (for a price, of course). But the best way isn't necessarily the easiest way. And because of this I'm now writing, for the first time ever, a blog entry while sitting in car.

ClickZ is reporting that a new study from the Nielsen/Normal Group has found that people are "suffering" from banner blindness i.e. "Internet users focus on the content on a page and ignore the advertisements. This is especially true for bright, flashing ads, and other units that are not relevant to what the user is interested in reading."
